Herpetology is the study of reptiles and amphibians! 

I choose to offer this particular class because I actually took Herpetology 101 at a local community college when I was in elementary school, and I still remember it to this day! 

It was such a special experience to learn about these awesome creatures, and it brings me great joy to pass my knowledge on to the next generation!

I have taught a few after-school Board Game Clubs throughout my career, and our main focus is usually Chess and Checkers! However, I have recently incorporated a vast array of board games including Jumanji, Sorry, Connect 4, Candyland, Trouble, Yahtzee, Battleship, Monopoly, Scrabble, Guess Who, The Game of Life, and Bananagrams. 

It doesn't really matter what the game is, it's all about learning to follow the rules, being competitive, and having a super fun time!

I was never really into LEGO when I was young, but ever since having kids of my own, LEGO has become one of my favorite hobbies! 

Whether it's completing LEGO Creator sets, or using my imagination with Classic LEGO, I just really enjoy building!

I've been a huge fan of video games ever since I received an original PlayStation for my 9th Birthday back in 1995!

My video game console lineup has increased a bit over the last 25 years, but I still have a few of the classics. 

I currently have a Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, and an original Sega Genesis!

I am always open to new adventures, so if your student really wants to learn more about a particular subject or try a new hobby that's not listed here, just let me know when filling out the on-boarding form!
